I retired from my position as the Director of the Library at DeVry University in 2007. I originally started renting to students and professors a few years ago, but now it is open to all.
The cabin area has the most beautiful clear night skies and one year I took my 8" Dobsonian telescope up there because the elevation (7,500 ft) make the skies very dark and cystal clear.
My late husband, Tom, had been of enormous help to me at the cabin and we reallyl enjoyed our time spent there.
In 2008, I remarried Bill and am now Susan Trask. He knew my late husband and even spoke at his funeral. He felt sorry for me that I wasn't riding the motorcycle, so he invited me to join him on rides. Our friendship became love and now we go on lots of rides on our new beautiful blue Honda Goldwing.
Now, my granddaughter, Ciandra, has been learning the cabin routine and helps me when she can.
